Walls and layout

Everytime I open up bumptop it changes the layout, so I see only the floor, but when I reset the layout so see the walls, If I try to put something like a sticky note on the wall it does not let me do so.

have you tried double clicking the floor to reveal the walls?
also you need to drag the sticky note to the wall
