Revise all color coding to use C# instead of explicit colors

I wish I'd known that matplotlib can use indirect references to colormap entries (C0, C1, etc) when I wrote this thing!

It would be nice to go back and redo the styling to be a bit more idiomatic, and perhaps fix some of the coloring and styling choices as we go.
