"The requested operation requires elevation" error when launching Roblox

If you're getting this error, it's likely because you enabled the "Run this program as Administrator" checkbox in Roblox's compatibility settings.

This is a bug with Bloxstrap 2.8.0, and will be fixed in the next version, coming within the next week.

Because of how Bloxstrap handles launch errors, you will not be able to change Roblox's compatibility settings again, and will need to clear them manually.

To clear them manually, open the Windows registry editor, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers, and delete the entry for RobloxPlayerBeta.exe.

Roblox should be able to launch normally again. For the meantime, avoid setting Roblox to run as Administrator.
