Bright splash screen in dark environment.

The splash screen appearing on cold launch of the app does not honour app-wide dark theme, resulting in instant brightness peak on dark-themed device when used in dark environment. It's uncomfortable and irritating to the eye, as one can imagine.

Hope that can be fixed for more complete dark theme experience.

It looks good. I use dark mode all the time but some users may prefer light mode. In light mode, the app still shows the same dark icon splash screen, creating a visual inconsistency.

@biplobsd, when the user selects light theme, the app should display the Light (white) splash screen at launch, when dark theme is selected, it should display the Dark splash screen. If the theme is set to Auto, the splash screen should match the theme used by the app at launch.

Is that the CI build or the current release? I also synced the splash background and icon dynamic color, and on my phone I couldn’t reproduce it.

Okay, I'm closing this issue. Due to the limitation in Android 11, I can't find any alternative API to dynamically change the theme resource at app startup for UiModeManager.setApplicationNightMode, as in older Android versions, will follow the system theme during the splash screen.
