Some values in Preferences not getting saved

I have experience with three odd tablets with Android 15, and my current two are by Honor. These are the tablets that have the bug with verse numbers that I listed here two weeks ago. That problem might be related to the added bug I am experiencing now.

In the Settings > Preferences, all the places where the user set a percent to increase or decrease by typing in a number Don't Work. I am able to type in a new number in the blanks, but the number doesn't stick. The increase I want in the menu text that I want displays until I move away to another screen, but doesn't visually change the size of the menu text. The value reverts back to the default values as soon as I move away from the screen. This happens in both the Advance and Basic modes.

I suggested in the title that this is an Android 15. But it could be a bug in the Honor operating shell placed on top of Android 15.

The issue can be reproduced here too, it's not related to Android, but a bug in the software. And it's fixable.

The issue was fixed in the code base, and will be in the next release for Android. That will take a while though? Is the update for Android urgent?

yay, That's good news, Teus! No, I wouldn't say it is urgent. Right now I have to focus on the restructuring of our foundation. How long is ' a while'? Thanks, Phil

Fine, great then. Good luck restructuring the foundation. 'A while" is yet undefined, I just don't know when the next release will be. Normally releases are made at least twice a year, usually more often.
