Does rules_ios support building Apple Watch apps?

Hi team,

Thanks for your work on rules_ios — it’s been very helpful to our development workflow.

I’m wondering if rules_ios currently supports building Apple Watch apps (i.e. watchOS targets, WatchKit extensions, etc). I couldn’t find documentation or examples related to Apple Watch support.

If not currently supported, is it on the roadmap, or would you recommend any workaround?

rules_ios is mostly in a legacy state and folks should instead use https://github.com/bazelbuild/rules_apple, which does support watchOS
