Hi @Lucifergene, I recently did some work for the repo-tools workspace for a very similar error. The command still works for me and I know at least one plugin used this for their contribution - the new agent-forge plugin.

I'm using Node 22, what version of Node are you using?

I'm using Node 20.19.2
Do u suspect a Node issue?

No, but it's just the first thing that came to mind. I'll try with that but it's in the range that I would expect - 20-22.

I just checked- I am getting the same error with Node 22.16.0

Have you been able to determine why it works for some but not for you? Until we have that figured out then I don't think we should be making changes.

I'm sorry, I haven't been able to figure it out yet, but I did attend the last Community Plugins SIG call, and I think @Parsifal-M mentioned that he had seen this issue before (though I might not have heard it clearly).

That's fair, I think @Parsifal-M might have been thinking of this PR #4041 which is very much the same error reported here. This is why I'm apprehensive about your proposed fix as this does work for me and others. The question for me is why? 🤔

@awanlin If you have both src and dist directories in workspaces/repo-tools/packages/cli/, can u remove the dist and check if the command still runs perfectly?

I suspect this bug is present in the development mode, not in the production mode.
