Leap SDK files don't exist

The following files
LeapPython.so
libLeap.dylib
Don't exist in the current Leap Motion SDK V2.3.1.31549 for Windows

Like you, I looked inside the download after unzipping the file and noted that the only file in the SDK (Windows 2.3.1) was Leap.py. So where are the other files?
I assumed this was the answer. (from the documentation somewhere)
Python¶
Leap.py contains the Python module that you reference in your Python application. This module loads LeapPython.so (Mac and Linux) or LeapPython.dll (Windows). These libraries load libLeap.dylib, Leap.dll, or libLeap.so (depending on platform).

It appears that you only need the Leap.py file.
