- Enable the ability to execute local MCPs running on your system with Bedrock Engineer and potentially reduce Bedrock costs.
Describe the solution you'd like / 希望する解決策を説明してください。
- The ability to register a MCP run on a Docker container on your system. This would also require a new prompt to use the MCP as part of the interaction with Bedrock much like you do now for knowledgbase.
- The ability to use MCP for AWS based here (https://github.com/awslabs/mcp/tree/main/src)
- See "Getting Started with Cline" example here (https://github.com/awslabs/mcp/blob/main/README.md)
- Stretch goal to make these a toggle to enable where Bedrock Engineer will download and build the Docker container and set it up to run on the local system.
- Enabling these MCPs would also allow the user to use the Perplexity MCP if they want as an alternative to the current web search capability.

- I have considered using Cline in VSCode but does not have all the functionality Bedrock Engineer does.
- Use of Bedrock Agents with Lambda based on Docker image but does not work as well as expected. Bedrock only allows seven interactions with the Agent before it gives up. This is also not a full MCP integration but a half baked.
