Describe the problem you'd like to have solved

Google play is able to run Pre-launch UI tests on provided builds.
Our app (Native Kotlin-Jetpack Compose) is closed under login flow which includes auth0 OTP email flow.
TBD: Is it possible to make it possible to login in automated tests? Is there a way to login with auth0 which is configured with OTP email flow?

Describe the ideal solution

Setting username and password in Pre-launch report section in Google Play Console won't help to login when WebView/CustomTabs Auth0 Screen is opened. I wonder if there's a way to login with test account with Auth0 programmatically?

Hi @orcuns , Currently we don't have any way to automate the login in the ChromeCustomTabs. Passing the "login-hint" with the email in the parameters can pre-populate the email field but we can't do so for passwords. I will check with the corresponding team to see if there is any workaround for the same. Would it be possible for you to try embedded login for the Google play reports ?

We only have email and email code confirmation auth0 system integrated. It would be nice to know if there's a way to test the application by logging in somehow.

No, we use OAuth2 Web Authentication Provider without password authentication.

This is the code how we authenticate:

Hi @orcuns , Understood. Unfortunately there is no way we can bypass the OTP screen programatically. But you can bypass the email screen by passing a login-hint parameter with the required email. This will directly take you to the OTP screen
