[Bug]: gen-sample-extension-docs: examples are always `metadata_ready`

What happened?

The sample generation extension does not work properly. While it seems like the comments are valid the function name is always extension_metadata_ready__be_more_awesome().
The # @TODO: comment also has the same hook name.

I expect to replicate the actual hook points like post_family_config.

How to reproduce?

Run a random build with enabled gen-sample-extension-docs extensions and then check sample-extension.sh in userpatches/extensions/
