Zoom functionality is not working as expected

I have a requirement where i need to zoom to datapoints for the timescale from 2weeks to 5m but every time i zoom in the zoom resets back and doesn't let user check the detailed datapoint value

Here I'm running a query whenever user zooms in and fetching the zoomed timestamp and passing it to the query.
