Introduction to censored data #1

@wzbillings

Description

@wzbillings

This website should be like a mini-manual on analyzing censored data with Bayesian methods. So the first "chapter" should be an introduction to censored data, along with examples outside of a time-to-event context (other books talk plenty about Bayesian survival models, we care about non-survival models). Make a list here of what we should talk about.

  • What does censored data mean?
  • Types of censored data (left, right, interval) and data-generating process
  • Examples of censored data
  • Fixed vs varying vs unknown censoring limits?
  • Interval censoring with fixed limits vs. value-based limits?
  • Right and left censoring as interval censoring when one limit is infinity
  • Censored data likelihood for modeling
