Is there an existing issue for this?
Description
Salam ABP team
I'd like to ask whether Linux support for ABP Studio is anywhere on the roadmap?
Right now the download page only has macOS and Windows installers, which leaves Linux users with no path into the Studio at all.
I get that the whole push behind ABP Studio is to make it the go-to place for developing and maintaining ABP solutions, but as a Linux user I'm stuck with just the CLI, which works, but the docs are sparse and not always up to date. And even that isn't fully smooth, I've hit Windows-specific scripts running during some CLI operations, which is a bit frustrating when Linux is supposed to be a supported environment.
Two things I'm curious about
- Is Linux support on the roadmap? Even a rough timeline would be great to know.
- Is ABP Studio open source? If it is (or could be), the community could probably handle distro packaging (.deb, .rpm, Flatpak, AppImage...) without putting that burden on the core team.
Happy to help if there's any community effort around this. Thanks!
