RogStrix g713pv (2023) new bios - the issue from THE ARTICLE still isn't solved

I have Asus Rog Strix g713pv (2023).

I have this problem from Zephkek's article:

**"The code lacks critical checks for the laptop's hardware state (MUX mode)."

"Once again, the firmware prepares to cut power to the discrete GPU without first checking if it's the only GPU driving the displays."**

Because of this I and apparently lots of Asus ROG users don't use Sleep Mode at all when only discrete card mode is used (which is actually the only option when you use an external monitor). After waking up from the sleep mode the system crashes. As I understand the problem happens because of the issue that Zephkek described in his article.

I've installed new BIOS 336 2025/10/07 which has been quickly released as Asus promised but the issue is still there. The system still crashes after waking up from the sleep mode when on the only discrete card mode.

Same here, installed the new BIOS 314 for the m16 2023 and all the issues persist, and WORSE than before if anything....these people man....they scammed us. ASUS never fkn again....

Also, why is nobody engaging with this not on reddit not on Asus's X page not even Zephkek is following through he said like 3 weeks ago when Asus released the 314 bios he would investigate and test and he went radio silent....

Wtf man....I cant play my damn midi keyboard in peace, my computers 20 yrs ago performed better than my 2023 3500USD laptop....How fkn unbelievable...

Guys, good news. I got a message from Asus on reddit, they say: "...We understand your frustration, and we want to assure you that we are taking this matter very seriously. We appreciate you providing us with detailed information about the issue...."

They always write like this, they're obligated to write like this, don't buy it.
It's impossible that no one in QA or QC has noticed this since 2020, and it wasn't a planned "action," because it's a hack on top of a hack. And now they're looking for a way to get around it, not solve it, because solving it is very expensive, and not just calling Sleep() correctly based on the mux switch state.
I'm sure that's the case, otherwise it would have been resolved very quickly and there wouldn't have been reports that nothing had changed.

You might be right. They’ll just replace the components/device for the ones that complain, most of em won’t. So the cost of it might be significantly less than the cost of actually fixing it. I hope I’m wrong.

Yes, I hope that I'm wrong too, but that's messages leave me with no doubts((. It looks like the new BIOS is just a dummy masking the problem, and not a solution
