I think this is a really good idea. A workshop kit would make things much easier, especially for new contributors and WP Credits Design students who might not know where to start.

Right now, there are some materials, but they feel a bit spread out. Having everything in one place with clear guidance would save time and make the whole process less confusing.

Something like basic templates, a simple structure to follow, and maybe a checklist for recording/publishing would go a long way. Even a couple of real examples would help people understand what’s expected.

Also agree that it’s better to build on what already exists rather than creating everything from scratch.

A few things that could make a workshop kit helpful:

a simple workshop outline/template people can start from
slide or design templates so everything feels more consistent
a checklist for recording, captions, and publishing
A few good examples of past workshops people can learn from
guidance on what makes a workshop different from a lesson plan or tutorial

I also think it would help to keep it lightweight. If the process feels too big, new contributors might feel overwhelmed. A basic starter kit would probably be the best place to begin, and then it could grow over time if needed.
