Describe the problem
Would it be possible to ask you to implement support for Forgejo (forgejo.org) as a version control system and document it in your documentation?
More difference can be expected between Gitea and Forgejo in time.
Moreover, dedicated hook and documentation for Forgejo could make things easier for translators (can be considered less 'technically skilled') who are not aware Forgejo is a fork of Gitea.
Solution brainstorm
Implementation of Forgejo support as a VCS in version control of a project/component, similar to Gitea today - hook(s) and pull requests, for example. Add related Forgejo sections/parts to the Weblate documentation.
