Creators-of-Create/Create@f2a0e59 implements a significant optimization for the generation of contraption collision, preventing lagspikes. Our implementation will depend on if the optimization can be implemented in a compatible way while still providing a performance improvement.

this is exactly what i have been searching for! please please please try to implement this so i can finally use my trains again!

There is a mod called Create: Optimized Trains that fixes this on 1.20.1

You can use optimized Trains together with this mod.
