Optional timestamp

Could the timestamp sent over MQTT be optional ? All my other MQTT sensors don't send a timestamp and often if there is recording of this in a time series db (influx/prometheus) this is not needed...

If your receiver or time-series database already assigns its own timestamp, you can simply ignore the timestamp field in the JSON payload, it won’t affect parsing
