Add registration form for next course iteration starting at 2026-05-04

Currently, there is no registration form for the next course iteration starting at 2026-05-04 . I can find the previous registration form

I need a link to a registration form for the SciLifeLab announcement of the course.

For now, I've made a TODO at the course dates at the course website.

Who wants to make a registration form? @bclaremar or me?

Also, the previous form may not have fulfillled the NAISS and SciLifeLab requirements. The SLL requirements can be found in this PDF (source) and are:

I suggest to only keep the mandatory questions (1 to and including 10) and question 14 from this list.

A colleague suggested:

One thing I noticed is that there are lots of SciLifeLab-related questions in the prog formalisms form. Maybe that would put off some non-SciLifeLab people? I don't think they should be removed, but maybe add something about NAISS as well, like which other NAISS training events they attended. Or something similar that removes the focus on SciLifeLab only.

I replied:

That is a great idea¸to add more NAISS things!

'There is a question: 'Have you previously attended any SciLifeLab training events?', so adding 'Have you previously attended any NAISS training events?' does not seem to be too off to me.

I do dislike the questions, but it feels fair/symmetrical to add that question about NAISS. So if BC is up for it, let's do add a question 'Have you previously attended any NAISS training events?' 👍️

My feedback, but you are allowed to ignore:

• All questions we have to put in by ELIXIR/NBIS are in. Well done!

These questions below I suggest to remove. I suggest so, as I feel it is not worth to bother the learners with this. If you (or Lars) really needs any of these, sure, keep 'em in :-)

• How did you learn about this course
• What do you expect to learn
• Briefly describe your background
• Which scripting and programming languages do you use
• Do you plan to follow the entire course

I like the question below and I am curious to see what we learn from its answers 👍
