TruShell uses GitHub Copilot agents to assist with development tasks, code reviews, and project automation.
The primary agent for assisting with:
- Code implementation and bug fixes
- Pull request reviews and suggestions
- Testing and validation
- Documentation improvements
- Architecture recommendations
Mention @copilot in pull requests to:
- Request code reviews
- Ask for implementation suggestions
- Get help debugging issues
- Request documentation updates
Use @copilot in issues to:
- Help with investigation
- Suggest solutions
- Create implementation plans
Engage with agents in discussions for:
- Architecture guidance
- Best practices
- Design feedback
When working on TruShell:
- Create an issue or discussion for your task
- Request agent assistance if needed using
@copilot - Use the guidance provided to implement your solution
- Submit a pull request with your changes
- Request code review from both maintainers and agents
- Agents provide suggestions but maintainers have final approval
- Always review agent suggestions critically
- Escalate complex decisions to project maintainers
- Use agents to accelerate development, not replace human judgment
