Channels appear as unread when there are no new messages

I am currently using 0.8.8 prerelease 7, but this has happened to me in previous versions too. When I read the messages in a channel and I exit back to the channel list, the channel is marked read, but when I enter the app again, it again appears unread, even though there are no new messages. Also one channel has been marked unread for a long time, even though, there aren't new messages in a long time. Some of these disappear when I see them in the official discord app.
