To answer my own question. I got the home edition to be installed after building WinBoat myself with some changes to the source to add the key env. This works but has some drawbacks as the home edition does not offer a rdp server. This means the container is more or less useless because I am stuck to the web interface. I guess I will move to pro then. |

Hi,
because I only own a key for the home edition I cannot use the default selection of Windows 10 or 11 as it only installs pro.
I used a custom ISO file but Microsoft is providing a combined ISO only where you have to select the edition on install if it differs from pro.
However I got the installer to install the home edition by using plain dockur/windows and providing the generic key for the home edition as environment "KEY".
Any chance to get this working with WinBoat as I prefer the easy UI provided by WinBoat.
I used the following compose.yaml (key is the generic key provided by Microsoft for the home edition)
