Apps (other than desktop) don't start. User error? #642

I'm running win 10 International English version in Winboat 0.9.0-amd64 under MX25. I can do everything I would normally need to do in Windows through the desktop app, but none of the other apps displayed in the Apps Category will start. If I click on the '>' symbol or right click on the app name, then select 'launch', the screen flickers once, but nothing further happens. Is this my error? btw a right click on the app name displays a rectangle with a white background showing 2 options ('launch' and 'exit') which are also in white and thus almost impossible to see. How do I change the colour settings here? |

This is my error: I needed to wait for the selected app to start; on average the delay is between 15 and 25 seconds (depending on the app) on my 4th generation Intel hardware with only 16GB of real RAM, with 2 cores/6GB allocated to the Windows VM.
