Elevator in space?

Can we get a update for 1.12.2 that allows the mod to work in space using a mod like WarpDrive?
I tried to make a elevator  in space but it simple disappears.
This is the space mod I am using ( https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/warpdrive )\
or is there another space mod that works with Thuts elevator mod?
