How to install PKG packet

I already have thinstation5.6 ready. I want to connect the sane package for scanning, but I don’t understand how to do this, please tell me. I see that it downloads packages via TFTP but then writes errors. At the same time, I can open 7zip and open this package (it seems to be normal and not damaged)

Where exactly did you get this package? ThinStation normally builds the package that it downloads, and they should be tar.gz, not zip.

My package not zip. The screenshot shows that sane.pkg is loaded and 7zip can read tar archives. I downloaded ready-made packages from the Internet

I know 7zip can read tar.gz, but ThinStation is expecting an archive that is a gzip of a tar and labeled .pkg. It builds them during build and downloads and unwinds them during boot. I seriously doubt there are packages out on the internet that are preconfigured for ThinStation use. You likely need to unwind these in the build environment and prepare them for ThinStation.
