Alignment Gaps After IFC Import #115

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue when importing alignments from an IFC file into the CivilNavigator of That Open. After loading the alignment, there are noticeable gaps/discontinuities between the segments, even though the alignment should be continuous. I’ve attached a screenshot showing the problem and included a sample IFC file for reference (it is an example file from the buildingSmart github: https://github.com/buildingSMART/IFC4.3.x-sample-models/blob/main/models/alignment-geometries-and-linear-positioning/sectioned-solid-horizontal/sectioned-solid-horizontal.ifc).

Has anyone encountered this before, and what could be causing these breaks? Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? Are there recommended methods, preprocessing steps, or settings in That Open that can help ensure the alignment loads as a continuous geometry without gaps?

Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Attila Bódis
