Why was the default behavior of clicking tag changed to opening the edit tag window?

i feel like sense its used more often it should default to searching the tag when clicked on and reserving editing to the right click menu

Since clicking a tag is easy to do accidentally and the default behavior of clicking a tag is unknown to new users - combined with tag searching being something that pulls you out of your current search, I had decided to change the default click behavior in 9.5 and move tag searching to the right-click menu.

If you feel it would be more convenient to have tag searching be the default left-click behavior, feel free to open a feature request for it to be an option.

i think the clicking on stuff accidently is more so a laptop issue, but also either way i dont think either thing getting pulled up (new search or a edit tag menu) is something you want to occur either way. i just prefer search to default as people would presumably use that abit more than editing tags. Not that i have statisics for that but just a feeling

ill mention it in the feature request but an optional middle ground (leaning my side) is have it set to search tag if clicked but if the user holds down on the button , so someone accidently tapping their touch pad cant accidently cause it to search

ill probbly put out my feature request anyway sense i think it has some uniqe stuff on it
