[Bug]: Print PDF fails on Linux Mint

The Problem

This is similar to what was reported earlier by another user on Mac. Nothing happens when I click on the 'Print PDF' icon. It doesn't blink or otherwise acknowledge the mouse-clock. The print dialog box does not appear. Other functions work fine. No other app on the system has problems finding the printer. This was installed from the latest .deb.

2.13.0 installed using latest .deb

strace showed nothing happened when 'Print PDF' icon was clicked. I spent an hour investigating with coaching by Claude but it appeared that the strace was the end of the road.  i.e., the code behind the 'Print PDF' icon does not seem to fire up any external process. When I load Stirling-PDF, the last line at startup is 
Linux PDF handler: okularApplication_pdf.desktop
I don't know that this is relevant, but Claude suggested that it might be useful to devs.

In response to my raising this issue on the Linux Mint forum, another user reported: 'The version (Stirling-PDF-linux-x86_64.AppImage / 2.31.1) printing does not work.'
