Is there a way to change wall thickness or have a solid object?

I am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to generate solid objects or at least make them have thicker walls. This would be really helpful for 3D-print strength if they did not all have to be hollow. Also, if this is not possible through this tool does anyone know of free tools to fill the models.
