On video slider with cover & the overlay play button,
when on IOS devices & safari browser,
clicking play starts playing the video, the immediately stops: https://youtu.be/BVEsVAh3CnI

Its a bit weird. I have tested this on the docs page: https://splidejs.com/extensions/video/
The first example produces the bug. But the second example slider does not.

This happes with both youtube and vimeo.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a video slider on ios device
2. Hit play
3. The sliders pauses immediately after starting to play

Expected Behaviour

The video play continue to play with just one click on overlay play button, like on android or desktop browsers.

I just set up Splide with the splide video extension, and I'm experiencing this same bug on iOS 18.4.1 on Safari.

And it's intermittent.

I have a carousel with 5 slides, and sometimes the first one I click will start playing after first clicking play, and sometimes the same one won't and requires clicking the loaded iframe red YouTube button. It appears to happen at random. And then same thing with subsequent slides clicked.

I have no Safari extensions installed, no ad blockers, it's a virgin testing phone setup.
But no issue whatsoever viewing/playing on desktop browsers.

Anyone know why this is happening?
A solution?
Alternative method?
