Possibility to create databases

Currently in the list of supported object types there are only citizens of the type database.
It would be really nice if the CREATE DATABASE statements could also be executed using this tool.

Investigating it a bit more for our use case it would be cool if there is an option to have state scripts in a pre and post deployment folder.

In our specific use case I would like to manage account level objects as well, examples are:

• NETWORK RULES
• NETWORK POLICY
• EXTERNAL ACCESS INTEGRATION

Hi @Dikootje Thank you for this feature request! We appreciate your interest in extending dlsync to support account-level objects. We are indeed planning to add support for account-level objects in dlsync. However, we want to proceed carefully due to several significant risks associated with account-level object management. We're considering a phased rollout of less risky account level objects first (like database and warehouse) followed by one by one security related account level objects. We're targeting this for a future major release, but want to get the design right first.

I'm currently looking for a tool to manage Snowflake environments and move away from manual deployment of sql scripts.

• Terraform is an option, but with a SQL/Snowflake background it makes more sense to use a SQL native tool. Terraform is quite bulky for a simple environment.
• Schemachange: The other project in the Snowflake-labs repo, could technically work, but it's hard to see the current state of all objects.
• In the past I've worked at a company with an in-house python framework which provides similar functionality/folder structure as dlsync to deploy sql scripts , but the execution order of sql files had to be maintained manually.

I'm really fond of the folder structure dlsync maintains. It gives a structured overview of the objects, somewhat similar to a database explorer / Snowsight.

In most of my cases a lot of the in-database objects are managed by dbt (Except for stages). But I love the idea of using dlsync for deploying everything dbt doesn't manage for me.
