We may want to add the option to delete items from MitoPilot's dropdown menus. E.g. paramter sets, groups, etc.

Need to prevent deletion of values currently in use by any samples, so the current interface is a bit awkward - the purpose of the modal (eg update assemble opts) is for creating / assigning a set of options to one or more samples. Maybe when the modal opens and there are unused options there could be a button "Purge unused" that is visible? Still a bit awkward because it is not necessarily clear which are unused, particularly if the user has created a lot of diff options. Maybe the drop down list of current options should include the number of samples where they are currently applied in (), eg. "default (10), high-mem (5), etc."
