I also often have a problem with "No OpenID Server found at https://steamcommunity.com/openid".
I have changed several providers. This does not solve the problem.
And I decided to figure out what could be the reason.

Steam just blocks my ip.
I turned to the provider with a request to change the ip of the site and this solved the problem. I did this 5 or 6 times and they no longer want to help me with this. The question is this. What should I do so that steam stops blocking my IP?

How many requests do you make per day? Steam limits it to 100,000.
Also, as a side note, Steam had a outage about 3 hours ago which most likely is the cause of any issues occurring today.

Also, are you sending a lot of requests at once? Akamai is used to prevent DDoS attacks on the API and apparently they implement a some sort of time based limit, which i tested in my browser by spamming refresh in my browser and within a couple seconds i was able to get it to stop returning data and instead return null, which possibly explains the "No OpenID Server found".

Basically as much code as possible leading up to the error that was modified (excluding the API key). Keep in mind I don't have enough information to find anything that could be a issue as 403 is a generic permission denied error and can happen for many reasons.
Also, try to get a new API key, could be blocked for some reason.

Also, just noticed that you are using http instead of the https that valve wants you to use, so try opening up steamauth.php and going to line 23 and changing http://steamcommunity.com/openid to https://steamcommunity.com/openid and lmk if that works.

Using different keys does not solve the problem. Change of ip only. Or wait for the lock to end. 48h it seems.

Ok, i was not sure if u were using http or https as the error says its using http but the other error shows https. I'd ask valve to check on why you are getting blocked, Otherwise I don't really have enough information to see the whole picture and diagnose the issue.

I really just need a more specific reason as to why they are being blocked, my best guess would be DDoS protection as that is what Akamai is being used for (aside from being a CDN) and valve doesn't really issue IP bans, rather they just disable your API key or account. Maybe try removing everything from the server and just putting the files in the repository into the server so we can narrow it down. Make sure if you do that to wait until after the ban expires, or get a new IP.

I think it would be useful to try to us the base library with the demo pages (no other modified code) and see if they still block your ip. This will allow us to see if it is a issue with this repository or something else. Make sure to stress the demo page as you would normally.
