Can't uninstall Edge completely

My OS is Windows 10 21H2 LTSC, I can't uninstall Edge completely when i using the latest Edge Remover(Edge Only & EXE Version), It's still have an blank icon on my desktop and start menu, Tested 3x times on VMWare and physical machine.(Btw it works well on Windows 11 24H2 LTSC, I don't know why)

Just did a fresh install of Windows 10 LTSC. Fully updated, then ran Remove-Edge.exe - all worked fine.

Edition: Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC
Version: 21H2
Installed on: 1/‎1/‎2026
OS Build: 19044.6691

Did you do any non-standard system mods, or other Edge removal attempts prior to running this?
Please upload the log file from the batch script.

I don't run any non-standard system mods, just only run Edge Remover when i reinstalled my PC. If it can't be duplicate again, I'll close the issue. Thank you for your help. (Sorry for my bad grammar)

2.2 works well on Windows 10 21H2 LTSC, the problem was solved, thanks for your suggestion!

It's still leave an icon in my start menu, but when i REBOOT my PC, it's disappeared :)

There is a potential issue with newer version of setup.exe
That's the main thing that changed from version 2.2 -> 2.3

*Sometimes the start menu list does not update properly until reboot.

@akane8787 can i ask you not for reboot but for explorer restart? and for windows log-off / log-on? just to determine minimal sufficient action

p.s. i have encountered similar intermittent issue in batch with v90 setup as well

Restart explorer cannot let the Edge icon in the start menu disappear, only reboot your PC.

... after some tests i manage to reproduce issue with both v90 and v92, but shortcuts persists after reboot (probably something disabled in my test environment)

anyway i'm interested in few more details:
i'm a bit confused, can you clarify: v2.3(setup v92) + REBOOT has no issue or v2.2(setup v90) + REBOOT has no issue?

right after uninstalling but before reboot can you run two command prompts, one regular and one elevated, and post result of next commands (text form is preffered)
run following in regular cmd:

whoami /user /fo csv
dir /b "%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\*edge.lnk"

run following in elevated cmd:

whoami /user /fo csv
dir /b "%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\*edge.lnk"
reg query "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager" /v PendingFileRenameOperations

would be nice if you do that in all environments where you did it before (win10, win11, etc.)
in case it's problematic to uninstall again, result of first command would be enough (whoami, but still need from both cmd)
