Column id defaults

Could we have column id in the grids default to the name of the dataprovider unless overwritten? I accually thought this was implimented already?

Hi wvitpr, Which version have you tried? Did you use the new (since 2022.6) place column wizard? That should default the ID to be the same as the data provider ID. I just confirmed it working (albeit in 2022.9 RC)
