Expanded records not saved in columnState

Is it possible to have the path to the selected record saved in columnState?, so if the user expands on groups to find a record, they can return to the same record and selection on refresh of the grid.

Not sure if it makes sense that this would be related to grid state, because you could get the index, but that could really be a different database record the next time that it loads.

Perhaps you should just save the pk(s) of the record separately?

Really what I'm after is the ability to get expand parent nodes then restore them so you can return the user to the same state they left the grid after refreshing the data.

But there are some technical considerations:

• The grid has API to iterate over the nodes and can expand/collapse a specific node.
• The visited node may not be within the chunk of records loaded into the grid; 99% will exist in the server-side foundset since has been recently visited.
• the specific group may not exist anymore after the edit since the user may have modified the "grouped condition" .e.g the last "open" order has been moved to "completed" the group "open" will not exists anymore.

FYI: I have a (currently private) branch in a fork that already is a long way to supporting this, hoping to finish these changes up and putting them in in a PR over the next +/- 2 months
