Add swi-prolog build for windows aarch64

Every since windows introduced arm, it's being getting popular recently, but when using prolog, it will only emulate, so why not introduce a build for windows ARM.

Good point. Possibly it can already be built on MSYS2? That doesn't provide the full Monty though. The normal builts use cross-compilation on Linux using Wine for the Prolog built steps. I don't know whether that route is feasible for arm64. It might be using an arm64 linux system. Building on Windows is possible, but extremely slow and hard to automate in our infrastructure.

Something like MacOS fat binaries could help, but that does not seem to be supported.

Windows arm doesn't support msys2, it is only built for x86_64, in windows arm, you are only gonna be emulating msys in x86_64 in arm64, so when you compile prolog there, it would expect x86_64 instead of arm64

Just wondering, please tell me if I am mistaken:

On https://github.com/msys2/MINGW-packages/blob/master/mingw-w64-swi-prolog/PKGBUILD, we have, in line 10,

mingw_arch=('mingw64' 'ucrt64' 'clang64' 'clangarm64')

and https://www.msys2.org/wiki/arm64/ says something that could be read in a way that this might be sufficient.

So, we might be able to do the same tricks as we do for X86_64 on an arm-based Linux system. If I find some time I'll have a look on what is provided as i have Asahi Linux on my M1 Macbook.

I tried doing swi-prolog in clangarm64 (in windows ARM), it is been a struggle. So I wonder, what is the default compiler for swi-prolog? clang? gcc?

Well, in Msys, you shouldn’t actually need to compile, just pacman -Sl | grep swi-prolog, search for your architecture and then install via pacman -S …
