I use my Pinecil both for normal soldering and for installing brass heat‑set inserts into 3D‑printed parts (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.). Switching between these uses means I constantly need to enter temperatures based on the material. This gets annoying and error‑prone.
Describe the solution you'd like
I’d like a dedicated Insert mode that provides a small set of material‑specific presets for installing threaded inserts into plastic, while being able to revert to normal soldering easily.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Manually changing the temperature every time I switch between soldering and heat‑set inserts. This works, but is slow and easy to mess up.
Additional context
Thanks!
