The drivers for the 802.15.4-capable chips all have functions to get the chips EUI-64 (but for now no possibility via to get them via the transceiver module, though #460 will fix this).
For testing a similar functionality for native would be nice. Since the TAP interface already supplies us with a MAC address, a conversion as stated in RFCs 2373 and 2464 is possible.
