Thank you for your interest in contributing to Quackback. This Contributor License Agreement ("Agreement") documents the rights granted by contributors to Quackback Ltd ("Company").
By submitting a Contribution (as defined below) to this project, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
"Contribution" means any original work of authorship, including any modifications or additions to an existing work, that you submit to the Company for inclusion in the Quackback project.
"Submit" means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent to the Company, including but not limited to pull requests, issues, patches, and emails.
You hereby grant to the Company and to recipients of software distributed by the Company a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to:
- Reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and such derivative works
- Offer your Contributions under additional license terms, including proprietary licenses, for the purpose of offering commercial versions of the software
You hereby grant to the Company and to recipients of software distributed by the Company a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer your Contributions, where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by you that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone or by combination of your Contribution with the project to which it was submitted.
You represent that:
- You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses
- Each of your Contributions is your original creation
- Your Contribution does not violate any third party's intellectual property rights
- If your employer has rights to intellectual property that you create, you have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer, or your employer has waived such rights
You are not expected to provide support for your Contributions, except to the extent you desire to provide support. Unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, you provide your Contributions on an "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND.
You acknowledge that the Company may offer commercial licenses for the software that include your Contributions. This Agreement grants the Company the right to do so without further compensation to you.
You agree to notify the Company of any facts or circumstances of which you become aware that would make your representations inaccurate in any respect.
By submitting a pull request to this repository, you indicate your agreement to this CLA. A CLA assistant bot will verify your signature on each pull request.
