Figure 4 not plotted correctly

The version of "Figure 4" currently visible on our gallery is wonky. There are extraneous figure axes that don't line up with the maps, and possibly some missing labels.

For reference, here's the figure from Kay et al. 2015.

Color bars shrinking plots seems to be the issue here, see here. Grids for the maps was drawn separately, hence they did not shrink. Using constrained layout and adjusting the axes width and height will solve the issue. For this result, I added plt.rcParams['figure.constrained_layout.use'] = True and used figWidth = 17.1 and figHeight = 19.5.
