Hello @sunnmagic What you are seeing is expected behavior. When customers pay using iDeal or what we call other alternative payment methods (APMs), the payment does not go directly from iDeal to your company’s bank account. Instead, PayPal acts as an intermediary in the process.
The german bank account belongs to PayPal. So expected behavior 😄 |

Hello @sunnmagic <https://github.com/sunnmagic>
What you are seeing is expected behavior. When customers pay using
iDeal or what we call other alternative payment methods (APMs), the
payment does not go directly from iDeal to your company’s bank
account. Instead, PayPal acts as an intermediary in the process.
* The customer completes their payment through iDeal
* iDeal then transfers the funds to a PayPal-owned bank account
* PayPal subsequently transfers the funds to your PayPal merchant
account
The german bank account belongs to PayPal.
So expected behavior 😄

Hello,
We are encountering an issue with PayPal Checkout regarding the iDeal payment method.
Several customers have reported that the bank account displayed during the payment process does not appear to be ours. Instead, they see an account number starting with "DE", as shown in the screenshot below.
Could you please confirm whether this is expected behavior or if it is a bug? Regardless of the cause, this situation is confusing for our customers, as they do not understand why a French company would display a German bank account during checkout.
Thank you in advance for your help.
