Over the last few months I found myself with less and less time (and headspace) to devote to IRBEM maintenance. It seems like the other IRBEM developers with commit permissions are in a similar situation as well---as I write this there are 21 open issues and 7 PRs. The number of issues and PRs highlight that IRBEM has room to grow, and that there are motivated IRBEM users who want to improve the library.
I can probably quickly clear many of those issues and PRs, but the underlying issue is the long-term maintenance. That in mind, my question for you all is if its time to recruit a new cohort of IRBEM developers? Maybe we can start with recruiting those who have contributed to the library already, or have pending PRs?
P.S. I don't think that my account is privileged enough to upgrade users to a developer status, so perhaps @AntoineBrunet or @tpoiii can do that.
