Minimal Core Rewrite

MeMesh has been completely rewritten as a minimal, focused plugin. Package size reduced from 2.5 MB to 78.8 KB.

Breaking Changes

  • 3 MCP tools only: remember, recall, forget
  • 2 hooks only: session-start, post-commit
  • 3 dependencies: better-sqlite3, @modelcontextprotocol/sdk, zod
  • Removed vector search, daemon/proxy modes, CLI features, all UI formatting

Added

  • memesh-view CLI command — interactive D3.js knowledge graph dashboard

Fixed

  • Graceful shutdown on SIGINT/SIGTERM
  • FTS5 search error handling for malformed queries
  • XSS escape ordering in dashboard HTML
  • Secure temp file creation (mkdtempSync)
  • CI workflows updated for v2.11.0

Architecture

  • 5 source files + 2 hook scripts
  • SQLite FTS5 full-text search (no ONNX, no embeddings)
  • Zod validation on all tool inputs
  • Backward compatible DB schema
