Not really anything special:

1. Rooted the device
2. Connected device to ubuntu and make sure it appears in adb:

adb devices
Will output something like this:

List of devices attached
21e182ae        device

3. run qc super with command

sudo ./qcsuper.py --adb --pcap-dump test.pcap
This is output:
[16:20:21 | INFO @ _enable_log_mixin.py:141 ] Enabled logging for: 1X (1), WCDMA (4), GSM (5), UMTS (7), DTV (10), APPS/LTE/WIMAX (11), TDSCDMA (13)

4. Then turn on airplane mode on and off , and see that the pcap file fills up

My setup is slightly different (Win11 and LineageOS 2.9 based on android 12) so I'll need to do some more test but so far:
-Rooted the device OK
-Connected with ADB OK
qcsuper is complaining about non finding a /dev/diag on the device on adb.py:146
My understanding is that LineageOS changed things around diag.
What OS / version ar you running?

I don't use a custom firmware, i just use a rooted android 7.0 nougat
