Cloner makes infinite Printing Plates

When an empty Warp Book is placed in the left, bottom slot and Unbound Pages are placed in the left, top slot, an infinite number of Printing Plates may be created that never deplete the supply of Unbound Pages given to the Cloner.

This issue does not apply to Warp Books filled with any number of Bound Pages. I think the issue here is that to make a Printing Plate, it costs a number of Unbound Pages equal to the number of Bound Pages filling the Warp Book. When the Warp Book used as a template has 0 pages, the cost is 0 so creating a Printing Plate uses 0 Unbound Pages.

Is this intentional, to be used as a kind of reset button?
