An important tool in Taxonomy but:

1. GIS-created maps can only be put on the Media tab of a taxon alongside other images. Logically, users would check the Map tab but there's nothing can be put there. Check my example at https://micropezids.myspecies.info/taxonomy/term/21/media
2. From what I've seen of the Scratchpad mapping implementation these are most unsuitable for occurrence-point distribution maps from data
3. When linking images to taxa there's a very limited number of choices, none of them suitable for GIS-created maps

Two requests therefore:

• Facility to put maps on the Maps tab
• More options on the image type (specifically one to cover GIS)
