When and where does the "Add To Program" action appear for DYLD Caches?

I noticed the DyldCacheBuilderPlugin class, and I see it adds a right-click menu action. However, it is a bit unclear to me when it comes into play. It looks like it happens when in a Program that's an Extracted DYLD Component, but beyond that, I don't know what I need to right click for it to show up.

What are the intended usage steps for this action?

Out of curiosity, what references do you see this being used for VS simply adding the external location? Or is this just another way of achieving the same exact thing?

External references in Ghidra sometimes aren't ideal because analysis cannot jump the boundary. This is giving you a way of building up an actual dyld_shared_cache that contains only the pieces that you care about (since analyzing the entire thing is not feasible). Also, the extracted dylibs don't really contain the necessary header information to perform external linking...this kind of fits into the 1 large blob model better.

Thanks for the note. I'm still figuring out exactly how it works, and hopefully I can start using it to better my reversing.
