Trying to recover funds

Hi there,

I am trying to recover my funds. I just found out today that this wallet closed. I was using it for my small business to store funds. I had really just opened it what seemed like a few months ago, I'm shocked to find out now going back that it's closed down.

Anyway, I have my 12 words ( pretty sure it was a lightning channel- not my own). I tried uploading it into blue wallet and sparrow. Both say 0 btc. I had about $300-400 that I had moved from my open node account to munity (I have receipts from open node I can share). Please advise on what I should do. Sparrow won't let me set the deriviation to the tap root 86' , both bluewallet and sparrow designate it to the 84' one. I'm semi-technical, but I thought if I had my seed phrase I'd be able to recover it from anywhere and I'm learning that may not be the case.

If it was in a lightning channel and you only have the 12 words, the funds are probably no longer recoverable. To recover you'd need your old state file plus then need to self host the wallet

Thanks for the quick response Ben. Since this was for my LLC (not me personally) this is not great news to hear. Is there anyone to contact at all to try and recover the funds? I have to let my accountant know and then she's going to probably make me take further steps to recover the funds. Legally I have to document it because otherwise it will look like I tried to steal company's funds.

The web page today let me download a state file - does that one work to upload anywhere at all? The only thing I was given or saw to download when I logged in a few months ago when I first created my account was that seedphrase.
